[Discontinuation of Widevine CDM support for older versions of Chrome]

From December 8, 2022, the Widevine CDM module built into the older version of Chrome browser will be discontinued, so users using the old version of Chrome will not be able to play content with Widevine DRM applied.

Starting with Chrome 107 released last November, a new version of Widevine CDM is built-in, and due to Google’s policy, the previous version of CDM can no longer acquire DRM licenses.

Customers are advised to instruct their users to update to the latest version of Chrome after version 107.
